Red Frog Gallery is the start of a new journey for me. Having spent the last 30 years of my life in EMS as a paramedic, I am ready to explore my creative side, have fun, travel, and share the beauty and joy in my life.
I am blessed with a mom who adorned herself with beautiful pieces of jewelry. Five sisters, and two daughters, each beautiful, with their individual styles, all inspire my designs.
I have been fortunate as a military brat, and as an adult to travel the world. Woman everywhere and always have adorned themselves, and it is inspirational to see how different ethnicities, and cultures find beauty.
Uniforms were, well, uniform. No allowance, or very practical to dress creatively. Off- duty, tending to children, my look was, shall we say comfortable, and uncomplicated. (Jeans and t-shirts.) I don't want to dress like my teenage self in the 60s and 70s, but sure gravitate to those boho, colorful, flowerchild looks. I just have sisters to remind me to keep it age and 21st century-appropriate, bless them. I think my jewelry can be worn by all ages, and styles. Jeans are still my staple, but it is fun to up the game with statement jewelry.
